3 days!!

OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH
I leave for Florida in 3 days. The car is a-ok to drive. :)
Dan's 21st birthday is today. We are going out to eat at Red Robbin then going to Fast Eddies in Alton. Should be a blast!! :D
Tomorrow is crack-down-and-pack day. Im going to get all the clothes washed and packed in my wonderful space bags. Everything that wont blow up or melt will be loaded in the car. For example..blankets, ironing board. Yesterday I printed off all the directions. From home to FL, hotel to airport(night of 7th), airport to hotel (night of 8th), hotel to check-in.
Im SOOOOOOOO Excited. I cant wait till I get to meet my roommates, find out my work location, help people have a magical experience, and of course..play in the parks. :)

13 days

I leave in 13 days!!! EEEEKKKKK *::insert panic here::*

But I am very excited to be leaving for Florida soon. I have started packing, and by this I mean I have a pile started. Yesterday I went shopping and got space bags and toiletries. I'm going to start packing towels and blankets. Things I won’t need right not. I still need to buy new socks, all my socks are bright colors. I'm sure the Disney look won’t allow neon color socks. I also need to buy shorts. I own 1 pair of jean shorts.

I printed and filled out all my on-boarding paperwork. I located my social security card so all I have to do is grab it. In the paperwork, I pretty much signed my life away to Disney. I am ok with this because I want to work there sooooo bad.

I told y’all earlier that my jeep was not “Florida worthy”. My old roommate is letting me take her jimmy. Now I’ll have air conditioning and a radio. When we went and picked up the jimmy, Dan kept saying how much nicer it was than my jeep. Yesterday when I picked up my friend to do some shopping, I was in the jimmy, she said the same thing. My old roommate is driving my jeep. Her mechanic friend is tinkering with is and is going to try to get the radio working again. Because I do not own the car, I emailed Disney with concern on “proof of registration”. They said I just needed to get a letter from her saying I have permission to drive the car. She put me on their insurance, so that is not an issue.

Many people got an email from Disney saying renters insurance required. The facebook page light up with concern and worry. Why did Disney wait till just now to tell us about this added expense? Yesterday I called my house insurance. They said I was covered for property “off-site”. So, yes I am covered while at Disney. The insurance is going to send me a letter verifying this so I can have it at check in.

My last day at the theatre was this last Thursday. It’s very sad and happy at the same time. I have been working there since 2004. Two years ago new management came and took over. I got laid off. A few months later they were hiring and I applied and got rehired under the new management. This was good for them because I knew some of the buildings personality that they did not know and they did not have to pay for me to be trained. I have also worked at a few of their other theatres in the area. I thought about applying to a theatre while at Disney. I’ve had 2 jobs for the past 6 years. I quickly decided that I wanted to play on my days off. My last day at Lake Williamson is Aug 3rd. That is a couple weeks shy of my 6 year anniversary.

Dan and I are driving to Florida on the 6th. When he gets off work, we’ll leave. Hopefully we’ll get to Orlando around noon-ish on the 7th. He and I will get a cheap hotel for the night and tour the area. Scope where check in is on the 9th. On the 8th, he got a flight in the morning to go back home. This means I’ll be by myself all day until I pick up my roommate Mandie from the airport around 5:30pm. She and I got a hotel for that night at pop century.
I cant wait till I get to meet all my roommates and start working at Disney. 

List of 10 Disney movies

Ok, here is a list of my top 10 Disney movies. They are in no order, and are subject to change. Lol. This was actually hard to do. How to I put only 10 into this list? I want to list them all.

#1.
Wall-E- This is the first movie Dan and I saw together. We watched it in the wee hours of the morning the day we met. And it’s an all around good movie. It has good messages about keeping the earth clean.

#2
Lion King- Hands down, my favorite Disney movie. The movie talks about family and the circle of life. Family does not have to be the family you are born into. For example, Timon and Pumba were Simbas family for many years.

#3.
My neighbor Totoro- Not sure if this qualifies 100% as a Disney movie because it was not created in a Disney studio. It’s a great movie anyway. I love the imagination that is in this movie.

#4
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs- My favorite Disney princess movie. The first full length animated feature. This makes it an incredible feature. I wish I had a neat-freak princess come and clean my house. Haha

#5
Little Mermaid- This movie is beautiful with an equally beautiful soundtrack. The way Ariel goes after what she wants is fabulous.

#6
Tarzan- Another beautiful movie. I love how the gorillas take in baby Tarzan and raise them as his own. Jungle Book has the same underlying tone.

#7
Lilo and Stitch-”Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind. Or forgotten.” When Lilo says this I cry. I like the way Lilo fights to keep Stitch. Even though he is different, she loves him the same

#8
UP- A great movie about friendship and following dreams until they are accomplished. It is never too late to accomplish a dream.

#9
Bedknobs and Broomsticks- I think this is the first movie I saw that combined animation and life actors.

#10
Princess and the Frog- The music to this movie is so fun. I love the fact they decided to stay frogs as long as they were together. They loved each other for who they were.

Little more detail

Sorry the last post was random and not very detailed. I was in a rush. :( This post is just as random...lol

As many of you know, roommate notification went up on the first. Mandie and I are officially roommates. This is very exciting. :-) The steps are not very hard.
Step 1: find a roommate
Step 2: get their id #. (this is their applicant number)
Step 3: Log on to wdw site and go to roommate notification. Enter their number.
Step 4: accept or decline, and ta-da. You are not matched with your roommate.
This is the only roommate you are guaranteed to have. The other roommates are now. The best way to guarantee you live with the other roommates is to stand in line together during check-in.

Today is Macoupin County's Relay for Life. This is my third year doing this. I do it in memory of my mom. She lost her battle with cancer 11 years ago. I walk for her. Today is also the hottest day of the year so far. Heat index is 101 with scattered storms after 3pm. The events start at 6pm. Lets hope and pray the rain stays away.

The iPhone 4 is beautiful. If the information I got is correct, I can upgrade early with the cheaper price. This makes me very happy. The iPhone 4 will be a huge step up from my iPhone 3G. Currently Im using a go-phone because my blackberry crapped out on me. The iPhone 4 has video chat. This will be very handy when I am doing the Disney College Program. I will be able to see my boyfriend and my family. The battery is said to be much better. I hope this is true. I carried a charger with me everywhere I went because the battery life sucks. With the phone Im currently using I have not charged it in 2 days. Now keep in mind, there is no internet or applications. lol The new iPhone has the Apple A4 processor. This is the same one that is in the ipad. And many many more new features. Some of the features are coming with OS 4.0 My 3G would not have supported many of the new features that are coming out.
http://www.apple.com/iphone/design/ Here is the link to some of the new features.

I am starting to think about when my last days should be at work. Should I continue working up until the day I leave? Or I was also thinking of taking off a week before I leave, this option lets me get everything packed and all the "goodbyes" said. Im still not sure.

Yesterday I sent out a few..."do you wanna live with us" emails on FB and I got a prompt reply from 1 person. I was mistaken and this person was a guy. Whoops. He laughed about it. I didnt even look if it was a girl or guy as there was 2 people in the pic and the name was a gender neutral name. Im glad he was not offended. :)
I still really want to live in a 3 bedroom apartment. I cant really afford to live in a 2 bedroom. We are still looking for the third bedroom of ladies.

Till next time~~

61 DAYZZ

Hello all.
I, along with many other people, got the dreaded..."Will you move your arrival date email." My answer was of course not! Ive been waiting way to long, I'm not waiting another month. The hotel is booked, the "Disney box" is filling up fast with things Im bringing. There is no way I can wait any longer, I would go nuts!

Check-in is in 61 days, I meet my roommate in 60 days. Its nuts to think just the other day it seemed like I was looking at a 100+ days till the program starts.

The yard sale did not go well. :( When I went to take my signs down, only 4 were left out of 14. Someone took my sign down and put theirs up. I was very mad. So I still have lots of stuff to get rid of. I'm going to try again at the end of this month then everything left over will to go the second hand store or garbage.

My phone was stolen from work. :( I am now using my old blackberry. It is water damaged and likes to crash. lol. But hopefully soon I'll be getting the iPhone 4. :D The release date is June 24th. My contract is up in September but ATT said everyone can upgrade up to 6 months early. This makes me very happy.

So, I have a mouse now. Its a stuffed mouse. Because working for Disney is also known as "working for the mouse." Its from work and my boss said the mouse had to go on adventures. I agree. The mouse needs to have a name. Any suggestions? This mouse will be with me all through my Disney College Program adventures. My brother did this with his over-seas adventures. But he had a bear. The mouse is a lot cuter than the pic looks like. It reminds me of Ratatouille. Its really cute. The pics does not show it well, but its wearing a purple shirt.

Not much this time as I am heading out the door.
Till next time...

update

Hello All…
I’ve been super busy lately. The busy season has started at both jobs. Our first camp of the season is a special needs camp. It’s called Special Touch Getaway, it is handicapped citizens and many times, this is the only time they get out of their home. Many live in group homes. There are people who need very little help to others who are fully dependent on others. They are awesome people, and they are so happy to be here. They are thankful for everything!

We’re having a yard sale tomorrow. This will be my first one ever. I hope to bring the money I make to Disney with me. Let’s pray it does not rain! It has been raining here a lot. But it’s not storms that come from somewhere, its storms that just appear. The storms are here long enough to flood the streets and then leave.

To graduate I need 9 credits on internship. I want to do one of these while working at my current job. I went to register for the “class” that is needed for the internship and the computer would not let me register because I did not have 110. I freaked out a little…ok a lot!! I am ok not getting credit for Disney College Program, but it would be really nice. I emailed the guy that is head of the program and he told me to “chill” he can override it in the system. YAY! I am going to call him on my lunch break today to get everything fixed.

Last Friday I woke up at 3:30 am to head to Kansas City to pick up my brother from school. About the time I was out of St Louis, a cop was directing everyone off the interstate; there was an accident. I am horrible with directions and was completely lost in St Louis. I drove around for awhile and then pulled out my iPhone and found a detour, got gas and continued on my way. I heard on the radio that both sides of the interstate were closed about an hr later. It was about 4:30-5 am, everyone was heading to work. But I made it to KC in plenty of time to get my brother his clothing and attend graduation. We ate with his group and left to go home. It was a long day but fun.

I found out my jeep will only cost $300 to fix. :-D yay!! That is the only thing that is vital to be fixed. It’s the front ball barring. There still won’t be a radio or AC. The mechanic said it will get me there and back. He also said my tires will be alright.

The night before check-in my roomie Mandie and I are going to stay in Pop Century resort. Our other roomie is staying there with her mom. We’re probably going to caravan over to check-in together. I'm super excited!!

Ive been seeing updates on the FB page from people who have already started their program. I am super envious of you guys right now! Keep us posted how everything goes

Till next time...

Life is CRAZY!!

Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans. ~~John Lennon

This statement fits so well into my life right now. I can’t believe its less than 3 months till Disney. I remember like yesterday the day I applied. And the day I got accepted. Actually my boyfriend and I were talking about it the other day. That is the only time my boss of 4 years has seen me that emotional, when I got the acceptance email. I was happy she was there to share the good news with me. She kept saying I’d get in and to quit worrying. And alas…I got in. She has listened to me talk about the College Program from the day I got the pamphlet to now. And I still talk about it ALL the time and she puts up with it. :-)

Finals are over. So is school!! I am checking the website constantly for grades. Now its time to concentrate on the summer events and then Disney time! I'm starting to get nervous. I wish I could just pack up and go tomorrow. I don’t like waiting.
My schedule is CRAZY!!! It seems that I don't have time to just sit and relax. Our busy season at both jobs are starting very soon! This means crazy hours for me. hopefully the time will fly and before I know it, I'll be on the road to meet my roommates at Disney!

My brother is back in the states from being in Haiti for months. He will be back in Kansas City, where he goes to school, next Thursday. Friday the 21st, he does his graduation ceremony. I can’t get off work Thursday, so I’ll miss him flying in, but I will make it to his graduation. I’ll leave my house when my boyfriend goes to work at 4am. And make it to Kansas City by 930-ish. Then come home the same day because I have to work Saturday morning. It’s going to be a long day Friday.
The 21st is also Shrek 3 release. At the theater I work at, we are doing green popcorn, green soda, and green clothing. I'm sad I’m going to miss it. It sounds like a hoot. "Its good to be Green"
We had an Iron Man 2 midnight release. It didn’t go so hot. We had 41 people. It was much busier on the weekend. I love working midnight releases. All the ‘crazies’ come out to see the movies. The energy in the theater is awesome!

I put my car in the shop today to get an estimate how much it is going to cost to fix. I know it will be no less that 1500. Now I have to figure out if I should get the Jeep fixed. Pros of Jeep: It’s big, Lots of room for packing and people, It’s paid off, 4- wheel drive. Cons of Jeep: It’s big: Gas hog, Cost of maintenance expensive. So now I argue with myself, do I get a new car or get the Jeep fixed?

Tonight some of my friends from out of town are coming and we’re going to have an “end of school bash.” It will be great to see my friends whom I haven’t seen in a long time. And I don’t have to get up for Saturday class. This makes me very happy!!

I'm having a yard sale. I’ve never had one, so my friend is going to help me. She’s more experienced than I am. The 28-29th is when I'm going to have it. I'm hoping as I am going through boxes, I can start packing for Disney and as I sell stuff, that money will be going with me to Disney also.

June 12 is Relay for Life. This will be my third year doing this. I do it in memory of my mom. June 20th is father’s day and I plan on going with a guy I work with to volunteer. He works with a group of people and they feed homeless out of a bus. They also give out things like socks and clothing. Toys for the kids that are living on the street are a big hit. Ive been touched from hearing his stories and I would like to help.

If anyone has any advice what to do with my Jeep or advice with the yard sale. Let me know!!

Hello All.
I'm not very good at this blogging thing. I am way to busy right now. :-(
So I will tell you all what has been keeping me from the Facebook and Disney world.

First of all, it is the end of school. Finals and end of the year projects are going to be happening soon.
I started a new-ish job. I have been working the sound booth at Lake Williamson. I trained for it last year, but I never actually did it. Tuesday was my first day doing it by myself. It was for a ladies group. We all know how needy and picky ladies can be. They were an awesome group and everything went well!! I was not as nervous as I thought I would be.
Because I am in the hospitality program at school, we are required to work The Gala event. This event is a fundraiser for the school and lots of money will be there that night. It is next Saturday. So we've been training a lot. How to pour wine, how to formally serve food. It is a black tie event. We learned how to cook Bananas Foster. This was fun. Anyone familiar with this dish knows that you have to catch the pan on fire with rum. This was a little scary for me as I've never intentionally caught a pan on fire. When I did finally get it to catch, it burnt up to quickly. So i had to add more rum and try again. Therefore my dish tasted like rum. lol The waitresses and servers have to know how to cook this dish. It will be done in front of the guests. One of my biggest fears in life is spilling food on someone. So I requested to not be a waitress/server. I am not in any cooking classes. So I will be working in the dish room. I am OK with that..haha. As my teacher put it, "anyone that can fog a mirror, can work in a dish room."
Another thing that has been going on, is my boyfriend is nuts!! He wont/hasn't bought me any jewelry. But he did buy me a Nintendo DS so we can play the new Pokemon game together. Pokemon hearts gold/soul silver. We bought the DS's off of eBay and the games at game stop. The games come with a neat device called a Pokewalker. This is a pedometer type thing that you put a Pokemon in. It gives the Pokemon points and the option to catch other Pokemon. Its neat!
Tonight I am going to the Cardinals game in St Louis. The other day my old roomie text me and asked if I wanted to go. She said she would pay for me. Thats the only way I can go, I am super poor. We are heading out as soon as I get off work at 3pm. I usually work Friday nights at the theater, so it will be odd to be somewhere else. And it looks like it is going to rain. :(

So as you can see, Disney is on the back burner. But I have started the process of getting school credit for the internship. I only get 3 credit hours. And I'll have to pay for those credit hours as if I was enrolled in class. :( My teacher said me wants me to take Marketing You class while at Disney. This solves my dilemma as to what class to take. When I talk to a administrator or counselor about what I am doing for my internship, I get the impression that Disney is very respected at my school. This makes me feel even better about doing the College Program.

Well. I'd better not bore you anymore. Till next time...

Packing List

Im stealing this idea from someone else! Here is a link to my packing list.
http://www.4shared.com/file/255245980/a855ef2b/_3__Packing_List.html
This is who I stole this idea from~~http://kitkat120689.blogspot.com/

Hope it helps other people. Does anyone want to add anything to this list?
Many things I want to bring with me and some of these things, I'll buy when I get to Florida. And my roomies and I still haven't ironed out all the details on "who-brings-what". So I'm sure my list will change.

Happy Good Friday! Hope everyone will have a blessed Easter weekend.

That is all for now..till next time..

Update

I lied to you guys. :( Please forgive me! Its been longer than a week from my last post. Better late than never...right? A lot has been going on, most importantly I've been working a ton! I'll have no problem with the long work weeks at Disney. Last night was a blast. My old roommate and I went to a St Louis Blues game. We went with her brother and some other friends. It was a great time. We had good seats, then someone she used to work with texed her that he was also at the game. He was three rows off the ice behind the net. AND there were open seats next to him!! So we went and sat with him. :-D The seats were probably $140+ seats. It was a superb time. And the Blues won, 3-1. Great night!

Good news! I have a roommate now! There is a good chance the apartment is full now. It appears that my roommate and I will get along fabulously. We haven't talked much, but I get the "good vibe". And she likes Precious Moments, that's a thousand points in my book. I cant wait till I get to meet my roommates in Florida. I am driving and she is flying, so I will have to bring more stuff. But that's fine! I'm going to start browsing Salvation Army for shorts and summer clothes. In the summer, I'm either at work or home. I don't go out much. Because of this, my wardrobe is jeans and T-shirts. I think I own one pair of shorts. Not even sure if they fit anymore. Im seriously thinking, instead of buying a twin comforter, just bringing my Queen comforter. It will be huge, but I'm sure that's OK, it gets the job done.
I'm getting the ball rolling with getting school credit for the Disney College Program. I have to talk to one more person to stay in "attending" status for financial aid. I have till the last day of classes to finalize everything. I'm not in too much of a hurry.
I know I'm going to miss the major holidays. That makes me sad. But Because this is an opportunity of a lifetime. I'm ok with it. The one holiday I am REALLY sad I am going to miss, is my goddaughters first birthday. :'-( Its in October. But I'll make it too all the other birthdays.

What is the one thing you HAVE to have at Disney? Like..you would turn around to go and get it.. It could be a picture or a thing or something else..

What about Christmas? Are you bringing Christmas stuff? How will you handle being away from your family?

Interview , ect..

I was reading other people blogs and I realized I never explained my interview or how I found out about the Disney College Program. So, Im going to do that for you today!
How I found out about the Disney College Program, is an interesting story. It begins on a stormy Friday night in June...Wait...Wrong story... This story actually takes place on a day in August. I transferred schools and went to the new school orientation. There was a table set up and it had Disney College Program pamphlets set on it. I love Disney! So of course I picked one up. Talked to my boss and told her that I wanted to do this program and I could not do it until next fall. Ever since then, I have looked up things about CP. It just made me ache for it even more. I already talked to both my bosses and told them what I was planning to do. They both told me that I had a job when I came back from Disney World. I got an email when the applications went online. I was sitting in my night class. The next few hours were miserable for me waiting to get home so I could apply. I had already went online (mostly to DISboards.com) and got tips and advice. I watched the e-presentation and applied. The web interview made me more nervous than the actual interview. I was doing at of this at 11pm, I had to wait until the next day before I could call schedule my phone interview. I didn't sleep very well that night. hehe
My interview was January 26th at 4:15. My grandma decides to call me at 4:00. "grandma, I cant talk right now. The most important phone call of my life is about to happen. Call you later. :)" At 4:19 she calls me. I was prepared for most of the questions except the question "Do you think you are more independent or more team work oriented?" EEK!! That's an important question. I told her depending on the situation, I am both, and I went into more detail. I applied for Hospitality, Main Entrance Operations, Merchandise and Concierge. She asked me a lot of Hospitality and Main entrance operations questions. No Merchandise questions. I got my email exactly 3 weeks after my interview. I am Main Entrance Operations, Fall 2010. That was my second choice. My 1st choice would be to work at Wilderness Lodge. But Im happy with what I got. :D
I found a list of common interview questions and I studied them. I had my boyfriend "interview" me and he gave me tips on how to convey my message a little differently. I had these typed out and sitting in front of me during the interview. I also had key words that I would want to use sitting in front of me. Some of these were, "dependable, teamwork orientated, reliable" This helped a lot because I was nervous and sometimes my brain wouldn't work. There was a couple times she asked me something and I talked so fast and tripped over my words. I started the answers over and talked slower. I made sure she could hear my enthusiasm and my smile. I answered everything honestly, for example, I put Concierge as one of the options. I dont know much about this role and I told her this when she asked me what I thought this role entailed. She was happy to explain it to me.
Here is my job description, taken from the website.

Spring Break

I woke up this morning at 6am to get ready for work. Wanna guess what I saw?...Come on..guess...ok, I'll tell you, it was the SUN!! I haven't seen it in a while. :-) It means spring is on its way. I am back to work today after having 2 full days off. I do not remember the last time I had 2 days off in a row with nothing to do. It was very nice. I got chores caught up and yesterday I stayed in my pajamas all day. My friend came and visited, I haven't seen her in a long time. Monday I went shopping with a gift card I got for my birthday and got some tops that will qualify for the "Disney Look" for traditions and classes. Because I had 2 days off, I watched a lot of youtube videos of Disney. I also compiled a few lists, I want to share with you guys.

List #1~~ Things to do BEFORE I leave for Florida.
-Finish this semester--duh
-Find homes or babysitters for my pets
-Have car fixed, or buy a new one, whichever way is the cheapest
-Have a yard sale to rid my house of clutter and make money for Disney :)

List #2~~ Things to do while IN Florida
-Ride every ride possible in Disney
-See every parade and fireworks show possible. I heard if you time it right on certain nights you can make it to every park and see all the firework shows.
-Get LOTS of smashed pennies.
-Try to get all the characters autographs. Childish, but it will be fun.
-Go to Universal at least once
-Go to the beach at least once
-Try not to eat in the parks more than once a week.
-Visit the resorts and Disney hotels to see what they look like on the inside.

List #3~~ Things to BUY to make life easier in Florida
-Small camera to fit in my purse
-Purex 3-in-1 Laundry sheets. They are a must for anyone who has to lug laundry anywhere. http://www.purex.com/purex-3-in-1
-A smashed penny book
-Stamps, so I can write to my friends and family at home. Everyone loves getting mail from Disney.
-I might buy bed risers. I don't think I am going to have that much stuff with me, and I hate crawling under the bed to get stuff out.

If anyone has suggestions to add to these lists, let me know!
And I was wondering if I should have a "going-away" party? This will be the longest Ive ever been gone from home. But I'll only be gone 6 months. I dont want to appear selfish. Any ideas?
Till next time!

Tuesday, March 2, 2010

I'm going to try to write an entry at least once a week. Not too sure if it will be more or less. Only time will tell. Lol
I'm really bummed I didn't get my first job choice. The more I think about it, the happier I am that I got the job I did. I wanted to work in one of the hotels or resorts. But a big negative with working hotels is if something is wrong with the room; its the person at the desk that gets the heat for it from the guest. But working with main entrance operations, the guest just got to WDW and hasn't had a time to get cranky yet. They and their kids are thinking..."IM GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!! WHOOO."
So I’ve decided where I want to live. I would love to live in a 3 bedroom Chatham or a 3 bedroom Vista. I want to find my roommates before I head down, but its not too necessary. It would be convenient to know what everyone is bringing. So if any ladies read this and would like to room with me....let me know. :-D Ive found this map, Its really cool. I got it off another website. I thought it is very helpful!!

squirrels

So, this doesn't have much to do about Disney. I am still waiting for August. There was an inter-office email sent out congratulating me about the Disney College Program. It made me feel really good. :-D
Anyways...I'm waiting for 2:00 so I can start getting ready for work. But in the meanwhile, I'm sitting in bed and I keep hearing something....this "something" is a few VERY annoying squirrels. I went outside and looked, they have made a hole in my soffet. Maybe this is where the mice are coming from. This year has been the worst for mice, I have seen 2. These squirrels are talking to each other, I can hear them chewing on something.. :-( . I have mouse poison in the attic, I hope they eat some! I'm going insane knowing I have creatures in my wall.
Another annoying this is my neighbor. I am not going to miss them when I move to Florida. Last night they had a party. There were drunk people walking on my street all night ticking off my dogs.
I AM going to miss my jobs when I go to WDW. Although im sure I'll love my new job. I've been at the same 2 jobs for 5 years. I love both my jobs. :) I need to start cleaning out the basement before I go, and make a box of things I am taking with me. A few things I know I am taking already is, A rubber duck shower curtain, Shelving, my pan I got for Christmas, my Pyrex baking dish (Its purple) and my spider plant I've had for years. I wish I could take my cat, dog and boyfriend. But im sure that housing would have something to say about that. Well, Its about time for work. If anyone knows how to get these darn squirrels out of my attic...let me know..they are driving me INSANE!!!

HELLO

Hey Guys,
Thought I would join on the bandwagon and share my expirences with the Disney College Program. I did not want to start a blog until I knew that I was accepted. The good news came Tuesday 2/16. I will be working Main Entrance Operations. YAY! I interviewed 1/26. The good news came exactly 3 weeks after my interview.
I would like to find a roommate who does not want to have parties all the time. I am in WDW to gain experience from this program, NOT there to drink all the time. I also would like to live in Chatham. I am going to try to bring my car to Florida (If it doesnt die first).

A little about me...My name is Sarah I live in Central Illinois. I am 24. I will be arriving 8/9 for the program. I am SUPER excited about working in Disney World. And an FYI...my grammar and spelling sucks; So I apologize now!!
